A little extra insight into Ligature Journal … The world of design is vast and enthralling. One of the many challenges facing the editorial team at Ligature is how to choose a theme to explore from all the exciting possibilities out there. Once Felix (the man who dreamed up Ligature Journal) decided that we should aim for three issues a year, we conceived a scheme.

We decided on three categories to be assigned to each issue in turn – ‘mind’, ‘body’ and ‘soul’ – the three components that make up one individual person. Issue One (peak stuff) was a mind theme, Issue Two (for good) is obviously a ‘soul’ theme. Which means Issue Three (which will be coming out next year) will be focusing on a ‘body’ theme. What will that theme be? We’re not telling… yet.
